Much like The Da Vinci Code, except in reverse, the mystery of the novel involves decoding what the (apparently) meaningless sequence of arbitrary symbols (on the book cover) means.

This is made much easier by the fact that the secret coded message (encoded in WingDings font) is in fact decoded already on the cover of the book, if you look closely.




See? It pays to look closely, sometimes.

The novel - and the transmedia story - appears to have been created by, an 18-year-old disaffected youth.

But - that's just because it was created by, an 18-year-old disaffected youth.

I guess you'd have to read it (the novel) to know, what the hell this was all about.
